Adapted Physical Education
Adapted Physical Education is a developmentally based approach to motor, cognitive, social and emotional skill acquisition through play. By "adapting" the curriculum, equipment, rules, timing, etc. each child is challenged to achieve and excel on a personal and individual level. Adapted P.E. is implemented through a play based approach on an individual or group basis as needed.
