Speech for Diane's Kids

In our Early Intervention (EI) basic group, speech therapy is provided in the classroom for some children and at home for others, depending on the child’s needs and their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). For all children, language development is an important part of their growth and learning.

In Diane’s room children are given the opportunity to discover their surroundings, and participate through songs, movement, and play. All activities encourage children to express their wants and needs, using words, sounds, manual signs, or gestures. Each child is considered as an individual and has their learning tailored to meet their specific speech/language needs. All are welcome and diversity is celebrated in our class!!
