Borhava at “Ripen with Us”is an integrated site where ten children with special needs learn and play with typical peers. We offer a theme-based curriculum with plenty of time for play, exercise and fun. We provide Adapted Physical Education and music classes weekly. Bornhava therapists provide services to children here at the center both in and out of the classroom.

We offer daily art activities and encourage the children to explore a variety of art media. Music is incorporated daily through songs, finger plays and musical instruments.

The integrated site follows the pre-kindergarten preparation curriculum emphasizing pre-literacy, pre-writing and pre-mathematics skills. Socialization skills are woven throughout everyday lessons and all activities. We teach good manners, kindness and tolerance toward others. Field trips are enjoyed throughout the school year.

Parents are always welcome to share talents, traditions or simply come and read a story to the children.
