Greetings from the Bornhava @ Ripen Satellite!
We are hard at work learning about the differences between the city and the country, and practicing nursery rhymes.
We have started a new curriculum by the Houghton-Mifflin Company provided by the Buffalo Universal Pre-K. It is a literacy based curriculum using stories, poems, songs and activities to help children learn pre-academic and reading skills. All the Bornhava children will be participating in this exciting new curriculum.
We will be studying the weather, spring, seeds and growing plants in the next few weeks.
Parents and Teachers will be attending CPSE meetings for the children during the next few months. It’s time to think about placements and plans for the next school year.
Please read to your child as often as possible. Your child can help read nursery rhymes with you. Think Spring!
